“Ė” furniture concept aims to oppose unhealthy consumerism that is wrecking the planet. The goal is product longevity and that is achieved not just by the quality of materials but also by basing the product on an endless user-journey. The product does not just get thrown out and replaced but is supplemented, transformed and used again.
“Ė” is a dynamic nomadic furniture that the user assembles without tools, disassembles without loss of quality, carries it to a new location and builds it up again tailoring it to the new context. The furniture is designed for the young generation, that cannot afford to own housing, but rents it and, therefore, moves often.
The user is empowered to change and customize the product to own preferences and the changing context. This way the furniture remains relevant and useful for a long time. The wooden parts can be assembled into a table, shelf, or a table-shelf hybrid with options for different sizes and endless variations.
